Take a Dip
Philadelphia Country Club boasts a resort-style swimming pool with two diving boards and a wading pool for small children. The pool features a 50-meter “long course” for competitive and casual lap swimming, as well as a 25-yard “short course” for the swim team. The main pool ranges in depth from a zero-entry area with playful water features to 12 feet at its deepest point, where two one-meter diving boards are located. The pool is open each year from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Complimentary pool towels and sunscreen are provided for all members and their guests.

Nanny Privilege Form
This privilege allows a nanny, au pair, or babysitter to accompany your child(ren) to the pool throughout the swim season. Families interested must complete this form to obtain permission each year because circumstances and/or House rules may change from time to time. The seasonal Nanny Privilege fee is $430 per family.
Philadelphia Country Club Swim Team
The Swim Team at Philadelphia Country Club emphasizes having fun and learning to enjoy the sport. We also emphasize the development of lifelong values of sportsmanship, self-respect, respect for others, honesty, caring for others and responsibility to self and others. PCC hopes to develop healthy attitudes about winning and losing for both participants and the parents involved.
PCC Swimming is a part of the Country Club Swim Association (CCSA). Each year, PCC swims dual meets against the clubs in our division. The age groups for CCSA are 8 & under, 10 & under, 12 & under, 14 & under, and 18 & under. Children swims in their age group based on their age as of May 31, 2023.
Swim Team Attire
For a PCC Swim Team suit, we recommend Toad Hollow Athletics. Their staff will fit your swimmer for an all-black suit and add the PCC logo on the spot. Swim caps are available at any practice. Both the suit and cap are recommended for every meet.
Volunteer for Swim Meets
Country club swim season runs on volunteers. Plan to sign up as a timer for at least one or two meets this season. Every home and away meet needs timers in every lane, from both PCC and our opponent. Let's make it a great season, together.
Lessons
Private swim lessons are available for every age and ability, from first strokes to fine-tuning technique for competition.
Long Course Distance Clinic
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 8–9 AM, June 1 through July 24. Open to all members, adults and children alike. A great fit for swim season training, triathlon prep, or cross-training. $15 per session. Contact Michael to sign up.
